Our History |
The Silicon Valley Fireflies were formed in 2012 by a group of interested flameworkers in the San Jose area. We were interested in meeting once a month during the week (many of our members have commitments on the weekends) to exchange ideas about bead making, and support each other in our art. What started as a small group of about a dozen people around a table has turned into a mailing list of nearly 70 people, and a vibrant group of attendees at meetings held in public and private studios.
